Location targeting lets you choose where your proxy IP appears to be located. For region-locked releases, localized pricing and geo-gated content, matching your IP to the right market is essential.
Levels of targeting
Targeting works at several granularities depending on what the supplier pool offers for a given country.
- Country — always available across global pools
- State / region — where the pool supports it
- City — for hyper-local tasks where available
Matching IP to the task
The golden rule is consistency: the IP location should match the account, payment method and shipping region you're working with. Mismatches are one of the most common reasons automated flows get flagged.
- Align IP country with the account region
- Use local IPs for localized pricing checks
- Keep location stable within a single session
